nGROUP Hires Jim Daniels  


Atlanta, GA, May 17, 2013 -   Chief Operations Officer Jim Zimmerman announces that Jim Daniels has joined nGROUP as a Performance Manager.

“Jim’s experience as an international business consultant brings a proven history of change management.  His methodical approach and philosophy has yielded continuous productivity improvements and we are excited to have Jim implement those same principles to one of our anchor accounts here in Georgia,” says Zimmerman.  

 

As a Performance Manager, Daniels will manage deadlines, processes and the facility workforce as to ensure that deadlines, productivity goals and quality standards are achieved.  In addition, Daniels will integrate productivity measurements and tracking technologies that motivate and coach workers in productivity principles such as Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.  

 

Daniels has 20 years of operations experience, including eight years of document services experience as an Operations Manager for IKON Office Solutions and Document Technologies, Inc.   

 

As a Management Consultant for DB&A, Daniels worked with companies such as Anchor Hocking, Deluxe Corporation, Pitt Plastics and Iron Mountain of Canada, the UK, Spain, Brazil and Argentina.  As a consultant, Daniels implemented effective management systems and processes to improve operational productivity and developed real-time management methods.
 

 


nGROUP Promotes Franklin Solorzano to Vice President of Implementation 

Atlanta, GA, April 22, 2013 – Third Party Human Logistics provider nGROUP announced the promotion of Franklin Solorzano to Vice President of Implementation. The announcement was made by nGROUP’s COO, Jim Zimmerman. 

Previously, Solorzano was Director of Implementation of the Southeastern Region. Solorzano is an Industrial Engineer with post-graduate training from Georgia Tech in International Logistics. 

“As an Director of Implementation, Franklin has designed processes, created pricing methodology, and constructed plant layouts that achieve high impact results. He’s also sets standards when it comes to production practices and principles such as Kanban, Kaizen, and 5-Why.” says Zimmerman.

nGROUP Promotes Jim Rossini to Senior Vice President of Corporate Process

 

Chicago, IL April 22, 2013 – Third Party Human Logistics provider nGROUP announced the creation of a new position and the move of Jim Rossini to Senior Vice President of Corporate Process. The announcement was made by nGROUP’s COO, Jim Zimmerman. 

 

Previously, Rossini was the Senior VP of the Mid-West Region at nGROUP. Prior to joining the nGROUP team, Rossini was the National Director for Staffmark. 

 

“As a Senior V.P., Mr. Rossini managed facilities throughout the Mid West region.  In doing so, these partner facilities achieved significant labor cost and process improvements. His ability to provide micro-solutions with macro-results has made him an invaluable resource to nGROUP. Our plan now is for Jim to deliver and oversee the assessment and implementation of process improvements on a corporate level – expanding his reach to facilities throughout the U.S.,” says Zimmerman.

Tom Taetsch Joins nGROUP in Southern California (January 7, 2013) 


President David Hair announces that Tom Taetsch has joined nGROUP as a Vice President of the West Coast region.

Tom brings 25 years of supply chain experience, including 11 years of recreational vehicle manufacturing experience with Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corp of America. Tom's logistical and engineering workload has embodied the 3PL industry, working for companies such as Exel, Saddle Creek, and Weber Logistics. As an independent supply chain consultant, Tom also worked several years for Tompkins Associates.

Tom's focus at nGROUP will be the expansion of current relationships with retailers, manufacturers and 3PL's in the Southern California market, while working to broaden nGROUP's service offering into different verticals.

 Logistics Expert Joins nGROUP team


President David Hair announces that Michael Runager has joined nGROUP as Senior Vice President. Mike has worked 25 years in Supply Chain Management with leading third party logistic providers such as CEVA, Burnham, and Exel. He has held executive positions in marketing, sales and business development, and was responsible for strategic planning, key account development and strategic alliances.

His focus at nGROUP is on expanding business relationships with other 3pls, as well as developing opportunities with retailers and manufacturers. Mikeis a graduate of the University of South Carolina and resides in Atlanta with his wife, Laurel and their two children.
